Status — building the first prototype
Early units go to the waitlist first, in the order people joined. The list is small on purpose.
How it works
Dry electrodes read the slide from wake into early sleep — no gel, no clinic. On-device signal processing finds hypnagogia, the drifting state the protocol depends on, and nothing leaves the band unless you ask it to.
The method comes from published work, not a hunch. Setup is a few minutes, the guidance is written in plain language, and a real person answers when you write in. We would rather explain the science than hide it.
You pick a topic before bed and put the band on. As you drift, it plays a short cue built around that topic, then lets you fall the rest of the way. In the morning the session is waiting for you, not lost.

We don't know yet, and we won't pretend to. It is a prototype. Nothing is for sale, and joining the waitlist costs nothing and commits you to nothing. When there is a real price, waitlist members hear it first.
It might not. Sleep-onset cueing is an active area of research, effects vary between people, and some nights nothing lands. We would rather tell you that plainly now than oversell a prototype.
Sessions are stored on your device by default. We do not sell data, and nothing is shared or uploaded unless you explicitly choose to. If we ever offer cloud sync, it will be opt-in and clearly labelled.
A tracker measures your night and reports back in the morning. Eidolon acts during the night — it detects the moment you drift off and plays a short cue in that window. It is about the transition into sleep, not a score for it.
The cue is a quiet audio prompt timed to the drift into sleep, not a shock or a bright light. It is designed to work with the transition rather than interrupt it. There are no implants and nothing invasive — it is a fabric band.
